Class of Classical Raga Music

This course is all about knowing the culture of the Indian subcontinent. In this oral tradition, students or pupils do not prepare themselves, here music will tell everyone what to do. The philosophy of raga music explored the universal concepts of harmony and rhythm. The invisible aspect of music that sometimes touches deeply even the untrained ear.

Beginner Level Course - Classical Raga Music

Class Timing :

Solo online class - 45mins per week (One-on-One Student)

Group online class - 60mins per week (Min 3 to 4 Students )

I will always guide my students to choose the right instrument, symbol, terminology, and classical raga notation reading, and practice methods of classical raga music/scale & rhythm structure.
Introduction to applied music theory
Practical application of the notation
How to hold your instrument
Right-hand and left-hand positioning/fingers practice
Instrument tunning methods and techniques
In this 3-5 years music course, I will teach a minimum of 5-6 raga / orchestral compositions of 20-30 mins. I will prepare them for their solo/duet or group performances.

Intermediate Level (i) Course - Classical Raga Music

Class Timing :

Solo online class - 45mins per week (One-on-One Student)

Group online class - 60mins per week (Min 3 to 4 Students )

Intermediate-level applied music theory
Practice methods of the raga notation in tantrakari aang or different instruments playing methods ex. jhala, bola, palta, murchana etc.
How to tune your instrument in the classical raga system.
Right & left-hand technics/fingers practice methods in 41 alamkara's accordingly applied theory of taan-senia gharanas.
Tantrakari style/instrumental technique & rababi style/fretless methods applied in raga music
In this 4-6 years music course, I will teach a minimum of 10-12 raga/ orchestral compositions of 30-45 mins. I will prepare them for their solo/duet or group performances.

Intermediate Level (ii) Course -Classical Raga Music

Solo online class - 60mins per week (One-on-One Student)

Group online class - 90mins per week (Min 3 to 4 Students )

Intermediate-level applied music theory
Practice methods of the raga notation in veenkari/beenkari aang or fret instrumental methods and gayaki aang or vocal technics.
How to improvise masidkhani gat and rezakhani gat in dhrupad style.
Practice 5 different styles of jhala, and 4 major styles of bola/dhrupad vani.
Learn upaj aang laykari in tabla or pakhwaj to develop veenkari technic and dhrupad gayaki methods of taan-senia gharanas.
In this 5-8 years music course, I will teach a minimum of 20-24 raga/ orchestral compositions of 40-60 mins. I will prepare them for their solo/duet or group performances.

Advance Level Music Course - Classical Raga Music

Class Timing :

Solo online class - 90mins per week

Group online class - 120mins per week (Min 3 to 4 Students )

Advanced and research-level applied music theory
Practice methods of the alapa in suddha vani/swami hari das taan-senia style of singing and bole, meend of swaradhya veena/senia rabab.
Learn vani/bola in pakhawaj to apply instrumental playing methods ex. jhala, bola, swara vistara, taan, upaja, satha samgaat etc.
How to apply veenkari aang/fret instrumental technic and tantrakari in rababi/fretless instruments and other world string/wind/brass instruments.
Alap in suddha vani/bole of rababi tantrakari, veenkari style
In this 7-10 years music course, I will teach a minimum of 30-36 raga/ orchestral compositions of 60-90 mins. I will prepare them for their solo/duet or group performances.

Research Level Music Course - Classical Raga Music Theory

Advanced and research-level applied music theory
Writing methods of the alapa in suddha vani/swami hari das taan-senia style of singing and bole, meend of swaradhya veena/senia rabab.

In this 5-8 years music theory course, I will teach a minimum of 500-640 raga theory. I will prepare them for their diploma or degree examination.

Class of European Classical Music

The basic philosophy of European classical music is to contrast the aesthetics of popular music, the aesthetics of classical music has traditionally focused on aesthetic content that is strictly musical in nature, excluding any additional content conveyed through words, actions, visual displays, or any other non-musical elements.

First, train your ears and learn an acoustic or digital instrument, then get a digital audio workstation and have a production and recording space then learn how to use an audio mixer.

How to tune your instrument according to the different world music genres/popular music genres.
